Ampersand Artist Panel Value Range is made using Ampersand’s “True Artist Hardboard™ and Archival Seal™ technology”. The cradles are hand built with premium grade 13-ply birch plywood which allows for maximum stability and a clean finished look. The painting panel is coated with an acid-free acrylic gesso primer making the panel ultra-smooth.

The Ampersand Artist Panel is a value panel made with quality materials that have been tested for durability. The semi-absorbant surface works perfectly with an array of mediums and is well suited for mounting papers and canvas. The panels themselves are acid-free and 3mm deep allowing for ease of storage and framing. The panel is perfect for use with Oil & Acrylic Paints, it can be used with most mediums including Modelling Pastes, Gloss & Matt Mediums and Texture Gels. 

We recommend this panel is perfect for mixed media techniques and can be used for an array of mediums. We highly recommend this panel is used for oils, acrylics and water-media but it also works great with graphite, collage, markers. A versatile panel that is excellent value for money that is more suitable for medium level artists such as students.
