Information

Seawhite Wooden Painting Panels are made using high-quality materials within the UK. An alternative to canvas is a cradled wood painting panel that has a 19mm deep pine frame with a plain birch wood surface. The surface has been sanded down to provide an extra smooth finish that is also rigid, strong and tough enough to endure even the harshest use with a brush or knife.
We recommend this panel is for acrylic based art such as paint and ink. The smooth wooden surface can be painted on straight away, however we recommend using a gesso primer so the paint can absorb and latch on well. Using a primer will also make the panel absorbent so watercolour can be used, however we highly recommend this panel is perfect for acrylic.

Seawhite Wood Painting Panel Pack Of 3

I only use Seawhite Wood Painting Panels now as I find them great quality and value for the price and they are reinforced well for the larger sizes. I will continue to buy them from both Calder Art Supplies or Perfect Paper Company depending on the size I require. The customer service is excellent as are the delivery times.

Great product, poorly packaged

Great product, really light, good price. Was very excited to receive them but was really disappointed to find one of the wood panels damaged/ splintered due to a hole being punched through the box during delivery. Surprised to find that an art supplier hadn’t bothered to bubble wrap or make any effort to protect the materials being posted out.
