Hahnemühle The Cappuccino Books are made with Hahnemühle traditional cylinder mould paper from their mill in the Relliehausen district of Dassel, Germany. The Notebook contains 80 pages of fine fibre paper, which makes it environmentally friendly, bio-degradable and PEFC certified. These sheets are made with a synthetic neutral pH size (internally) which makes them genuinely acid-free and vegan. Each page is 120gsm which can be used for Indian ink, fountain pens and acrylic markers as well as other water-based pens as it uses minimum abrasion and is a non-absorbing surface. This paper is brown in colour and comes in a smooth texture.

The Hahnemühle Cappuccino Book is cut edge which provides a clean edge to the paper. The cover is hardback that is dark brown and features a light grain that resembles wood with a brown ribbon page mark adding a unique quality and finish. The bind is hand-stitched using a section-stitch technique, after this it is then glued in with the cover on top to provide more support; and can also open-flat which is perfect for drawing over the bind. This notebook is slim and a great accessory if you are travelling. 

We recommend that this sketchbook is perfect for mixed-media but works especially well with pens, ink and acrylic markers. Because it is 120gsm it is a thick enough weight that can easily take on a light wash or water-based techniques such as fountain pens and Indian inks.
