Hahnemühle Sketch and Note are made with Hahnemühle traditional cylinder mould paper from their mill in the Relliehausen district of Dassel, Germany. This pack comes with two notebooks in a pack. Colours available are Laurier/Cerise and Delphinium/Menthe. Available in A6, A5 and A4.

The book contains 40 pages of fine fibre paper, which makes it environmentally friendly, bio-degradable and PEFC certified. These sheets are made with a synthetic neutral pH size (internally) which makes them genuinely acid-free and vegan. Each page is 120gsm which can be used for ink and pencils as well as other dry mediums. This paper is full grained and natural white in colour and comes in smooth paper.

The Hahnemühle Sketch and Note is cut edge and the cover is paper-back that comes in multiple colours. The bind is hand-stitched, straight into the cover, using a straight-stitch technique; it can also open-flat which is perfect for drawing over the bind. This notebook is very slim and perfect for travelling and writing.

We recommend that this sketchbook is perfect for dry art techniques and works especially well with inks and pencil. Because it is 125gsm it is a light weight and won’t take watercolour or any other similar wet technique well and the paper could easily buckle. We would suggest any dry medium, however inks and sketching materials work best.
