Silvine Layout Pads are made within the UK. The pad contains 80 pages of high-quality paper that is FSC approved. These sheets have a neutral pH size (internally) which makes them genuinely acid-free. Each page is 50gsm which is similar to tracing paper and can be used for sketching and technical drawings. The paper is very smooth in texture, white in colour and is translucent allowing for work to be transferred between leaves. . 

The Silvine Layout Pad is cut-edge which provides a clean edge to the paper. The cover is paperback and uses a cardboard back for extra support. The bind is glued and can open-flat. This pad is slim and a great accessory for sketching, tracing and some graphical work. Available in A3 & A4 sizes. 

We recommend that this sketchbook is perfect for dry art techniques and would buckle with any type of paint. Because it is 50gsm it is a light weight paper and will be able to take sketching, drawing and tracing well. We would suggest using pens, fineliners and pencils on this product.
