Canson Mi-Teintes Pastel Pads contain very high-quality paper that has a neutral pH size. This particular pad contains 20 sheets that are all completely acid-free. Each page is 160gsm which can be used for pastels, (soft, hard & oil), or for some coloured pencil work. The paper is double sided and varied in colour. This particular pad has a variety of tones that are all shades of brown.

The Canson Mi-Teintes Pastel Pad is cut-edge which provides a clean edge to the paper. The cover is paperback with a glued bind for ease of sheet removal. The pad is slim, lightweight and provides the artist with a number of toned backgrounds to try. Available in 24cm x 32cm & 32cm x 41cm sizing. This pad features a double sided texture, with one side being Canson's characteristic honeycomb grain, and the other featuring a fine grain. 

Available in four colour options: White Brown Tones, Grey Tones and Cool Tones. Each Pad contains 4 colours with 5 sheets of each in a pad. The White pad contains 20 sheets of standard white

Brown Tone Colours: Ivory, Cream, Oyster and Sand

Grey Tone Colours: Pearl, Moon Grey, Flannel Grey and Pearl Grey

Cool Tone Colours: Azure, Alaska Blue, Steel Blue and Light Blue

We think that this pad is perfect for dry art techniques such as pastels and coloured pencils. The paper is 160gsm, so it is a mid-weight paper and will be able to take sketching, drawing and mark making well. We would suggest using pastels, pens and coloured pencils on this product. The pad however is designed primarily with pastels and layering in mind.
