Botanical Ultra Smooth Watercolour Pads are made and produced with paper from England. The Pad contains 10 pages of Mould Made, 50% cotton paper. These sheets have a neutral pH size (internally) which makes them genuinely acid-free, as well as being surface sized to reduce absorption. Each page is 300gsm (140lb) which is designed to be used with Watercolours. The paper has a Hot press surface that is designed to be extra smooth, and all paper is white in colour.

Botanical Ultra Smooth Watercolour Pads are cut-edge which provides a clean edge to the paper. The cover is paperback and is easy to remove and acts more as a basic cover for the paper. The bind is gummed, and additionally it has a unique formula so each page can be easily removed without ruining the sheet; and can also open-flat. This pad is slim and a great accessory if you are interested in trying Watercolour and is a great pad for any artist at any level.

We recommend that this pad is perfect for watercolour & wet in wet techniques. Because it is 300gsm (140lb)  it is a heavyweight paper and will take watercolour or any other similar wet technique well and the paper won’t easily buckle. We would suggest any wet medium, however pastels and sketching materials will work also.
