Khadi Coloured Rag Paper consists of long grain fibres that are made with 100% cotton. These sheets have a neutral pH size which makes them genuinely acid-free. The paper is made from coloured cotton rags, in a variety of colours and textures. There is Light Grey, Dark Grey and Black in Rough, and a Smooth Variant of the Black also. 

Khadi Coloured Rag Paper is deckle-edge which provides a rough edge to the paper. A high quality, 100% cotton artists paper that is loved by professionals and amateur artists alike. The paper can be used with watercolours or most dry media as a sketching and drawing surface. In particular, white or lighter toned materials work excellently on this surface as the natural dark tone gives immediate contrast to work. Available in 56x76cm (22 x 30 inch) sizing.

We recommend that this paper is perfect for wet art techniques and works especially well with watercolours and gouache. It is a heavyweight paper and will take watercolour or any other similar wet technique well and the paper won’t easily buckle. We would suggest any wet medium, however pastels, charcoal and other sketching materials will work well on this surface too.
