Canson Mi-Teintes Pastel Paper is a High Quality, Artists Pastel work surface. The Paper is Gelatine Sized for extra strength, meaning some light Ink or Watercolour work is possible on this surface. Made from Cotton Rags this paper is expertly designed to work with Pastels. It has a Definite Grain with a Rough Texture on one side, (called the Honeycomb by its Producers) that can hold powdery pastels and give vibrant light effects. The other side has a fine grain surface designed for fine detail work. 

The paper is excellent when used with a variety of materials such as: Pastels, Pastel Pencils, Gouache, Charcoal and Sanguine Chalk to name a few. It also has a high Rag Cotton Content, 160gsm in weight with a total of 27 Vibrant & Varied Colours in the Range.

Coming in at 55 x 75cm In Size we have a Minimum Order Quantity of 10 Sheets with this Product.

Canson Mi-Teintes Paper is a fantastic Pastel paper with a unique Honeycomb texture on one side and a fine grain traditional pastel surface on the other. Despite not being marketed as such, this paper is actually a very good mixed media paper. As it has been sized with gelatine the paper can be used with wet media such as inks and gouache to great effect.
