Sanwa Tissue Paper is made in Japan. The paper consists of a thin, translucent sheet adorned with flecks of gold and silver in its surface. The paper is available in one weight at 9gsm and is smooth on its surface. There are three colour varieties available with White, Pink and Lilac. Each sheet comes at 63.5 x 85cm in size.

Sanwa Tissue Paper is cut-edge which provides a smooth edge to the paper. A high quality artists paper that is loved by industry professionals and artists alike. Exceptional as a bespoke wrapping paper due to its delicate nature and strength in its fibres. 

We recommend that this paper is perfect for use as a wrapping paper, its unique strength despite its lightweight makes it ideal for bespoke work. It is not a heavy paper and won’t take watercolour or any other similar wet technique well and the paper will easily break. We would suggest most mixed media work with this paper such as collage, scrapbooking or fashion design.
