Hahnemühle Expression Watercolour Blocks contain 20 pages and are designed to be used with watercolours & gouache primarily. These sheets have a neutral pH size (internally) which makes them genuinely acid-free as well as having no animal products in their make-up making them 100% Vegan Friendly. The paper has a slight textured finish giving the surface a nice amount of feel, the paper is Cold Pressed or (Not) in texture. Available in one weight at 300gsm (140lbs). The paper is 100% cotton based as well.

Hahnemühle Expression Watercolour Blocks are cut-edge which provides a clean edge to the paper. A high quality, acid-free, pad that is loved by professionals and amateur artists alike. The paper is designed to be used with watercolours & gouache, perfect for most wet working techniques. 

The pad is available in 24x30cm & 30x40cm sizing and contains 20 individual sheets. The pads are available in a glue bind, with the paper being glued on all sides for immediate wet working. 

We recommend that this paper is perfect for wet art techniques and works especially well with watercolours. It is a heavyweight paper and will take watercolour or any other similar wet technique well and the paper won’t buckle or break. That being said, it can also be used with oil and soft pastels. We would suggest any wet medium, however pens, pencils, charcoal and other sketching materials will work too on this surface.
