Daler-Rowney System 3 Acrylic Painting Pads contain 20 sheets of 230gsm white acrylic paper with a double-primed, linen-textured surface. Designed for acrylic paints, they provide a canvas-style painting surface in a convenient paper pad.

The fine-grain texture gives the paper a tooth suited to acrylic colours. Use it for colour mixing exercises, developing compositions or painting studies, whether you are exploring acrylics for the first time or working on a regular painting practice.

The paper is acid-free and has clean-cut edges. Each pad is glued along one side and opens flat, with a removable paperback cover keeping the paper covered between sessions.

Choose from A4, A3 and A2, with 20 sheets of 230gsm paper in each size. A4 offers a compact space for studies, while A3 and A2 give larger compositions more room.

• 20 sheets of 230gsm white acrylic painting paper per pad.
• Double-primed, linen-textured surface with a fine grain.
• Designed for acrylic paints, from colour studies to developed compositions.
• Acid-free, clean-cut paper, glued along one side with a removable paperback cover.
• Three sizes: A4, A3 and A2.

We recommend that this pad is perfect for acrylic paints, wet painting techniques and works especially well with most painting techniques. Because it is 230gsm it is a midweight paper and will take acrylics well and the paper won’t easily buckle. As the paper has been primed and given a linen surface it can withstand a lot of paint being on its surface. But we would advise for any impasto work a board may be more suitable.
