Winsor & Newton Oil Pads contain 10 pages of very high-quality paper that is designed to be used with Oil Paints. The paper is acid-free and archival in quality and non-yellowing, this durable paper is designed to withstand heavy paint applications and support acrylic mediums and impasto techniques. 

The Winsor & Newton Oil Pad is cut-edge which provides a clean edge to the paper. The cover is paperback and uses a backing for extra support, with a glued bind that can open-flat. The paper is a cool white in colour and has a fine tooth canvas textured surface. Specially formulated this paper has the right absorbency for oil applications. Each sheet is 230gsm and comes pre-primed ready for use. Available in a variety of sizes. 

This is an exceptional pad for anyone looking to try Oil Painting for the first time as you get a number of surfaces for the price of one pad. The paper has a canvas texture with a specific formula that allows for the right absorbency to achieve traditional oil painting techniques. Can also be used with Gouache and Acrylic Paints also to some success, but ideally this surface is to be used with oil paints. Water-Mixable Oils will also work beautifully on this paper.
