Royal Talens Oil Paper Pads are made and produced with canvas grain oil painting paper. The Pad contains 10 sheets of oil paper. These sheets are acid-free, as well as being 240gsm which is designed to be used with Oil or Acrylic Paints. The paper has a Semi-Textured Canvas surface that is designed to be used for painting techniques, specifically Oils.

Royal Talens Oil Paper Pads are cut-edge which provides a clean edge to the paper. The cover is paperback and is more of a basic covering. The bind is glued, and the paper inside is textured with a canvas grain to allow paint to adhere and react properly to its surface. This pad is thin and a great accessory if you are interested in Oil Painting. The book is a great pad for any artist at any level.

We recommend that this pad is perfect for most oil painting techniques and works especially well with acrylics also. Because it is 240gsm it is a heavyweight paper and will take paints or any other similar wet technique well and the paper won’t easily buckle or break. We would suggest any oil based medium, however acrylic paints will also work on this surface.
