Pen & Marker

Paper is very important when it comes to things like markers, pens and fineliners. If it’s not heavy or not the right kind of paper, bleeding through the page can occur. Although a mixed-media pad can work great if it’s a heavy paper, something like a marker pad would be more suited for both products. In general, a smooth paper that isn’t too heavy (from about 90gsm onwards) that is acid-free as well as being sized will work well with these mediums but keep in mind that bleeding may occur if it is a light paper.
