Millford Watercolour Paper is made at St Cuthberts Mill, located in Somerset. The paper consists of grain fibres that are made with 100% cotton. These sheets have a neutral pH size (internally) which makes them genuinely acid-free. The paper has one texture which is Cold Press (Not), giving the surface a slight amount of texture. Available in one weight at 140lb (300gsm) and each sheet comes in a 22”x30” size.

Millford Watercolour Paper is cut-edge which provides a clean edge to the paper. A high quality, 100% cotton artists watercolour paper that is loved by professionals and amateur artists alike. The paper has extra size in its construction giving it better wet in wet strength and unique properties compared to standard sized paper.

We recommend that this paper is perfect for wet art techniques and works especially well with watercolours and gouache. It is a heavyweight paper and will take watercolour or any other similar wet technique well and the paper won’t easily buckle. We would suggest any wet medium, however pastels, charcoal and other sketching materials will work well on this surface too.
