Khadi Papers are made with recycled 100% cotton rags at their mill in India. This paper is made with 100% long fibre cotton rag, which is renowned for being high-quality, strong, durable and can last years without deterioration. These rag papers are the only handmade papers in India made with neutral pH size (internally) which makes them genuinely acid-free as well as lignin and sulphur free. Additionally, it has a gelatine size giving it extra strength when working with wet media such as watercolours & gouache. 

This is Khadi paper's only square paper packs in the bigger sizes, its extra weight comes with a gelatine size providing it with more strength for wet working and wet media techniques. It is still however extremely good for use with dry media such as pens, pencils and charcoal as the medium-rough grain surface gives a fantastic texture and depth to work.
