Seawhite Kraft Card Sketchbooks are made and produced with thick, high quality kraft card. The pad contains 40 sheets of mixed media capable card. The sheets have a deep brown tone to their surface as well as being 100% acid-free. Each page is 175gsm which is designed to be used with a variety of media. Typically this surface will work best with sketching materials such as Pens, Pencils and Pastels. The pad is excellent when used with white media as the deep brown tone of the paper offers a clean and easy contrast to work with. 

Seawhite Kraft Card Sketchbooks are cut-edge which provides a clean edge to the paper. The cover is hardback, and is a durable cover to protect the paper inside as well as to provide a hard backing to work on easily.  The pad is bound with a spiral bind. This pad is thick and comes with a black ribbon tie to secure the pad when being transported and to mark a place in the book if needed. Excellent value for money as you get a lot of sheets in one space. Available in a variety of sizes. 

We recommend that this pad is perfect for Mixed Media and Sketching primarily. As the paper inside the pad is so thick it can be used with a lot of different mediums. Materials such as pencils, charcoal pastels and pens work expertly on the smooth kraft surface. One niche this paper has compared to others is that as it is deep brown it works very well with lighter toned media. Materials such as white pencils, white pastels or similar will look fantastic on this card as the white contrasts very well with the deep brown surface.
