Khadi White Rag Paper is perfect for wet art techniques such as watercolours. This 100% cotton paper is acid-free and is sized giving it more wet-in-wet strength. Excellent for both wet and dry media. These Sheets come in packs of 5, 10 or 20 sheets depending on the size you choose.

Details

Khadi White Rag Paper consists of long grain fibres that are made with 100% cotton. These sheets have a neutral pH size which makes them genuinely acid-free. The paper is available in two textures which are smooth and rough and comes in a variety of weights at 210gm, 320gsm, & 640gsm. Available in 56x76cm sizing.

Khadi White Rag Paper is deckle-edge which provides a rough edge to the paper. A high quality, 100% cotton artists watercolour paper that is loved by professionals and amateur artists alike. The paper can be used with watercolours or most dry media as a sketching and drawing surface.

Our Rating

We recommend that this paper is perfect for wet art techniques and works especially well with watercolours and gouache. It is a heavyweight paper and will take watercolour or any other similar wet technique well and the paper won’t easily buckle. We would suggest any wet medium, however pastels, charcoal and other sketching materials will work well on this surface too.

Khadi smooth

This cotton paper is okay, but not really suitable for finer work. Fairly smooth surface, works well with pen and ink but doesn't take watercolour as well as some cheaper papers. Decent, but prefer smoother Saunders.
