Dyed Lokta Paper is made in the Himalayan region of Nepal. The paper consists of fibres from the inner bark of a Lokta bush that are made with 100% sustainable materials. These sheets have a neutral pH size (internally) which makes them genuinely acid-free. The Lokta has been prepared and then dyed, giving the sheets a bright and colourful hue. The dye is non-toxic and sheets are available in Gold, Red, Turquoise & Purple. All of the dyeing is done in the Kathmandu valley using approved dyes. 

Dyed Lokta Paper comes with a deckle-edge which provides a rough edge to the paper. A high quality handmade paper, designed for artist use that is loved by industry professionals and amateurs alike. Each sheet comes in 51cm x 76cm (20 x 30 inch) size.

We recommend this paper for use with Inks primarily as its unique manufacturing process, long fibres and non-absorbing properties provide it with excellent qualities that are suited for Ink work. As well as inks this paper is excellent for sketching or scrapbooking as it has a unique colour and texture. Additionally as the paper has a unique colour it can be used with contrasting colour media for a fantastic effect.
